Born and raised in Dallas, Texas Yvon always had the dream of being a model living in California but never knew if this dream was possible because of her situation. Miss Nguyen lost her mother in 2013 to lung cancer and shortly after lost her father to leukemia in 2015. Moving to Orange County, CA in 2016 due to foster care, Yvon started her mission to accomplish her goals of modeling. Nguyen has featured in LA, New York, and San Diego Fashion Week, has done work in San Francisco, New York, Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, and published in various magazines for designers. With 7 years of modeling experience Yvon saw the good and bad of the industry. Once established, Yvon made it a personal goal to create a space for models across the board to be able to come, learn and grow within the industry without financial burden, gatekeeping, or dangers of the modeling industry.

At 18 years old Nguyen founded Yvon's Non-Profit Modeling Agency in 2022 building her community business to promote networking, opportunity, and teachings for models all over Southern California.

Heading into 2025 YNPMA has been rebranded to SoCal Model Company. Southern California's FIRST Model Club. Holding the same values as before, SCMC will continue to strive in providing an inclusive model club, model events, and a community committed to uplifting models careers in the industry.
